Building Projects

Church Soundproofing

  • Rwandan law requires churches to have a soundproof infrastructure. Since this law was passed, several of our partner churches have had to undergo renovations to address inadequate soundproofing to prevent being closed.

  • Multiple churches in Kigali have undergone renovations to address soundproofing issues. We have partnered with Herman Church (pictured above) and Zarephath Church to provide funds to complete the soundproofing projects.

  • Projects have been completed at Herman Church (pictured above) and Zarephath Church.

Preschool Facilities

  • Early childhood education builds a foundation for lifelong learning. Our goal is to partner with local churches in Rwanda to provide safe and secure learning environments for early childhood education.

  • We have partnered with several churches in Rwanda to provide preschool centers.

    Bwiru Preschool

  • The Bwiru Preschool is currently in need of installing a permanent floor. The flooring is uneven lava rock, which makes it impossible for desks to be used in the classroom. Our goal is to partner with a local business called EarthEnable, who uses natural materials to create solid and washable floors.

Additionally AHI is seeking to secure land for a preschool to be built in the village of Nyamata.

  • Thanks to generous donations from our partners, we were able to work side-by-side with the local church in Mbyo to complete their preschool.

Church Planting

  • God moves through the local church all around the world. Our goal with AHI is to equip the local churches in Rwanda and to help support new congregations to continue to reach people in East Africa.

  • In 2023 AHI was able to secure land in Gisenyi for one of the local churches in that Village. The congregation is now in the beginning phases of construction. AHI hopes to continue to support local churches by helping them secure land for church buildings to be built.

  • AHI looks to support the local churches in East Africa to help provide a safe place for worship and fellowship to take place. As the church continues to spread in this area the need for such facilities continues to grow.
